WHAT
LEARN HOW TO IMPROVISE SCENES WITH BACKGROUND MUSIC AND HAVE A LAUGH WITH FRIENDLY, LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE.
In this drop-in workshop you'll practice some of our favourite short-form games and long-form scenes together in a friendly and supportive environment. But most importantly, you'll have a laugh!
Every game and scene in this workshop will feature an improvised musical score. Musical accompaniment in improv provides opportunities to change the genre, mood, and context of a scene, making it an excellent skill for practicing "Yes Anding." It's also particularly enjoyable and immersive.
We recommend that participants have completed our Beginners Musical Improv Course or at least 6 months of drop-in workshops.
