COVID-19 Policy

DINGBATS IMPROV AND THE THEATRES WE WORK WITH ARE TAKING MEASURES TO PROTECT YOU

All Dingbats Improv in-person events take place at either The Archway Theatre in Horley or the Hawth Theatre in Crawley and therefore we follow their COVID-19 policy which you can read more about on their respective websites. If attending an in-person event, please also adhere to our rules below:

Before attending

​

  • All tickets must be bought in advance, there will no tickets available on the door. This is to ensure that there is no handling of cash, and that we have a list of everyone in attendance so we can contact people if another attendee tests positive after they attended the event

  • If you are showing the symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the event. You can let us know by emailing dingbatsimprov@gmil.com. Please see our terms and conditions for more information about our refund policy

  • We advise that attendees take a lateral flow test before attending

  • Where possible, we recommend driving, cycling, or walking to the venue to avoid exposure on public transport

When you arrive

 

  • On entry you must sanitise your hands with the sanitiser provided

​

During the workshop

 

  • Please be aware of those around you who may be uncomfortable being in close proximity to others

  • Face coverings will not be mandatory for the duration of the workshops; however, you may wear one if you wish. If you are uncomfortable without a mask, we recommend attending our online events where we can enjoy your facial expressions, hear you clearly, and you can improvise from the safety of your own home

  • In line with SAGE advice, The Archway Theatre has installed new ventilation equipment, the system is now changing the air in all areas over 6 times per hour and this will run all the time they are in occupation

  • Depending on the weather, we will keep doors and windows open to improve ventilation of the room

  • We have reduced the number of attendees from a maximum of 16 to a maximum of 12 to limit the potential exposure

After the event

 

  • The venue will have been professionally cleaned before each use, so rest assured that all surfaces will have been sanitised

  • If you test positive up to 10 days after attending an event, please contact dingbatsimprov@gmail.com so we can inform the other participants
