WHAT

*THIS COURSE WILL GO ON SALE MONDAY 26TH AUGUST 5PM*

WHAT?

Take your ability to improvise to the next level with our Scenes Improv Course! Scenes are the building blocks of all long-form improv, and having the skills to improvise great scenes will help improve any format you play.

In this seven-week course you’ll build on the skills you learned in our Beginners Improv Course and Performance Improv Course. 'Yes And' is great, but it will only get you so far in the scene... once you've built your platform, what then? How do you maximise laughs? How do you end a scene? What's the point of a scene, anyway? Through playing games and scenes, we'll answer these questions, and dive deeper into "The Scene" and develop a strong understanding to help you make your scenes funnier, more intersting and more fun to play!

By the end of this of this seven-week course you will have new skills in your improv toolbelt to give you the confidence and knowledge to improvise funny and interesting scenes; skills which you can then apply to both short-form and long-form.

WHO?

This course is suitable for those who have some improv experience and have preferably completed our Beginners Improv Course and Performance Improv Course. The course will be run by Ed Pithie, who has over 10 years’ experience in teaching improv, and potentially guest teachers who will coach you in a specific element of scenework.
